Math Tutor and Homeschool Advocate

Hello! I'm thrilled you found my page. I hope you'll reach out so we can connect, but first, let me share a bit about my journey.

My husband and I have been homeschooling our children since 2008. In 2024, we celebrated our youngest's graduation from our homeschool. As a new homeschool parent, I was desperate for guidance. I devoured books and blogs, led a local support group after joining one, bought an online curriculum to stay on track—and still felt like I was barely treading water. If you're in that boat, know this: I get it. The struggles are real, but so are the joys. Hang on—countless blessings await you and your kids on this adventure.

A few years in, once I'd found my footing (around 2012), I co-founded and directed Heritage Family Educators, a homeschool co-op. For seven rewarding years, I served my community by supporting new families, teaching students, and juggling admin tasks. Leading a vibrant group of passionate, self-sacrificing families stretched me in the best ways—honing skills I'd never imagined. I've worn many hats over the years, from jobs to teams and activities, but nothing has been as fulfilling as walking alongside fellow homeschoolers.

Like so many homeschool moms, I paused my outside career to focus on family. As our homeschool finish line approached, I pondered my next chapter and realized I'd already discovered it. In 2019, I resumed my education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Management of Information Systems concentration on May 4, 2021. Then, in 2024, I embarked on a fresh adventure: pursuing a degree in mathematics, which offers clear advantages as a homeschool tutor. I'm thrilled to weave business savvy, tech know-how, mathematical rigor, and educational wisdom into tools that empower our community in innovative ways. I have a feeling it'll spark some truly incredible adventures.

My motto? Yes, you can—and I can help. I've heard it from countless moms: "I could never homeschool my kids." Let me say it plainly: Yes, you can. (That doesn't mean you should, have to, or even want to—it just means it's possible.) Homeschooling is legal nationwide, and God equips us for the paths He sets before us. Doubts often stem from lacking a teaching degree, but millions of parents prove daily that effective homeschooling doesn't require one—or any degree at all. I've seen "unlikely" folks thrive at it, including me, despite naysayers and my own fears. What makes sweeter? A support team of those who've gone before. That's my role: supporting families on their journey for as far as they desire.

The biblical truth of freedom in Christ (Galatians 5:1, 22–23) fuels my work as a family educator and homeschool advocate. Homeschooling isn't just about schooling at home—it's about nurturing the whole family through lifelong learning, unbound by walls. Our culture has lost sight of true educational freedom, but Scripture reminds us: God entrusts children's well-being—including their education—to parents, not the state (Deuteronomy 5–6; Psalm 127; Proverbs 1). He calls us to teach them everywhere, all the time. Let that truth light your way.
